New in the Shop

Last week I got in an order of new fabric, and I'm so very much in love! This bird print -- Flight in Orchid, by Violet Craft is super sweet.

The Kaufman Corduroy in Acorn Brown is even better than I imagined, and it pairs perfectly with the Wildwood Organic Forest Floor in Ivory

If I had to pick a favourite, it would be this navy blue floral print--Wildwood Midnight Flora. It's so magical!

1000 Sales!

I watched this video on the Etsy blog the other day, and at one point, Sara Selepouchin of Girls Can Tell shows a collection of the screenshots she's taken over the years of her Etsy landmarks. And of course, I wished that I had done that! Better late than never though, right? So here's a screenshot to commemorate my 1000th sale!  Yay! (you can kind of see "1000 sales" right under the yellow stars on the left-hand side)

Fab(ric) Friday

I just got this Essex Linen in grey this week, and I am so pleased! I know, it's grey. No pattern or pomp. But it's a really beautiful shade of grey (pale with a faint lavender hue), and at $6.50 a yard, it's a really affordable 55% linen/45% cotton blend. Now, I got it from pinkcastlefabrics, and they're all out right now, but they've got more on the way. And I'll be ordering more soon, I'm sure.

I was so excited, I immediately washed and dried it so I could make something new!

{Inspiration Workshop: Front Porch}

It's Thursday--So that means I'm linking up with Gussy Sews' Inspiration Workshop again! This week's prompt is "Front Porch."

My front porch is a little on the small side, so I took a gander across the interniche and found an armload of photos to fulfill my innermost front porch desires:

Oh, and no dream porch would be complete without a pet. This one's mine!

Check out this week's post on Gussy Sews for more Front Porch inspiration!
