In My (Parents') Backyard

 

So, a little factoid about me: hot dogs are pretty much my favourite food. Ok, I have a lot of favourite foods, but hot dogs are really strong contenders for me. Part of the love is the whole hot dog roasting experience. We have a fire pit in our backyard that starts getting used as soon as the snow melts and provides good times until late fall. 

We're on a rather dense treeline, so (as you can see) the leaf-count is pretty outlandish at this time of the year. It makes raking a tedious and never-ending battle, but it looks spectacular. And it's good compost too, I suppose.
